Job summary

Village Caregiving is seeking a compassionate in-home Caregiver/CNA to join our growing team. The role involves providing a range of care services to clients in their homes, with a focus on dignity, safety, and independence.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, meal planning, light housekeeping, and medication reminders. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required, and shifts may include nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide one-on-one patient care with compassion.
• Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every day.
• Compassionate and supportive in interaction with clients.
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• Willing to enforce health and safety standards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance (showers, bathing, dressing, feeding) for elderly or recovering clients.
• Give medication reminders and assist with ambulation.
• Assist with mobility for activities inside and outside the home.
• Plan and prepare meals for clients.
• Complete shopping or accompany clients to stores.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Report unusual incidents and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Assist with daily living activities and meal service as needed.
• Travel to client locations within reason.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Medication reminders and assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Plan and prepare meals
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary
• Must be willing to travel within reason

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• Supportive and compassionate
• High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver
