Job summary

The Legacy at Oak Hill Senior Living Community in Austin is seeking Caregivers to assist residents in the Assisted Living and Memory Care Programs with daily living activities, enabling a quality life while preserving dignity.

Full Time Schedule: 6:00 am–2:00 pm and 2:00 pm–10:00 pm. Benefits include competitive pay, medical, PTO, retirement, disability, life, vision and dental coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous caregiver experience.
• Previous experience in a Senior Living Community required.
• C.N.A license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort services and other daily living activities.
• Follows resident needs schedule as set by supervisor.
• Provides emotional and social support to residents.
• Documents daily log of assistance.
• Informs supervisor of any resident issues.
• Respects residents' independence, dignity, and confidentiality.
• Is familiar with emergency equipment and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Full Time Schedule:

• 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
• 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm

• Provides emotional and social support to residents.

• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
• Respects residents' confidentiality.
• Is familiar with emergency equipment and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience as a caregiver.
• Previous experience in Senior Living Community required.
