Job summary

Lumina Las Vegas is seeking compassionate caregivers to assist residents with daily living activities and support their well-being. Roles include flexible schedules with weekend requirements, and responsibilities range from transfers to mobility and personal care.

Qualifications

Caregiver General Summary:

Responsible for assisting Residents in their daily living routines. Duties are performed under the indirect supervision of the Nurse or Supervisor, with established procedures and guidelines.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities of a Caregiver

Responsible for the “Assisted Daily Living” duties and functions that allow the Residents to be clean and comfortable. i.e., transferring, mobility, bathing, changing briefs, peri-care, toileting, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing, changing bed linens, etc.

Physically ensures the Residents get to appointments such as salons, transportation, activities, and meals, including pushing wheelchairs, following closely behind walkers, keeping track of and responding to schedules. Responsible for the Residents under their care & recording communications for co-workers, shift summaries and care notes.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to regularly walk, stand, bend, reach, stoop or sit for extended periods
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise, move objects/people weighing more than 50lbs
• Work for sustained periods maintaining concentrated attention to safety, detail, and accuracy

Requirements:

• Required to receive the annual Flu vaccine, excluding religious or medical exemptions.
