Job summary

The Mission at Agua Fria Senior Living Community is seeking a Caregiver to assist residents in the Assisted Living and Memory Care programs, helping with daily living activities and mobility while upholding dignity and respect. Shifts include Full Time AM, PM, and NOC, with a schedule spanning Sunday to Thursday.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, ADLs, support with medications, transfers, skin care, and contributing to care plans. Benefits are offered as part of a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Must have a caregiver certification through an Arizona NCIA board approved caregiver training course or willing to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Takes and records vital signs.
• Measures and records height and weight. Calculates and records fluid intake and output.
• Recognizes abnormal changes in body functioning and reports changes to a supervisor.
• Provides assistance with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort services, and other activities of daily living.
• Transfers, positions and turns residents.
• Provides skin care.
• Contributes to the resident’s assessment and plan of care.
• Provides nursing rehabilitation/restorative nursing services.
• Cares for residents with dementia.
• Follows the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor.
• Provides emotional and social support to residents.
• Promotes and protects resident rights, assists residents to make informed decisions, treats residents with dignity and respect, protects resident’s personal belongings, reports suspected abuse or neglect, avoids restraints in accordance with laws and regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The Mission at Agua Fria Senior Living Community is currently seeking Caregivers to assist to residents in the Assisted Living Program and Memory Care with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity.

Now hiring for the following shifts:

• Full Time - AM Shift - 6:00 am to 2:00 pm (Sunday to Thursday)
• Full Time - PM Shift - 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm (Sunday to Thursday)
• Full Time - NOC Shift - 10:00 pm to 6:00 am (Sunday to Wednesday)

Requirements

• Must have a caregiver certification through an Arizona NCIA board approved caregiver training course or willing to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
• Previous experience in a related field highly preferred.
• Previous experience in Senior Living Community preferred.
• A High School diploma or GED.
