Job summary

Merrill Gardens is seeking a dedicated Senior Living Caregiver for the 11pm to 7am shift. You will assist residents with daily activities, help with medications as allowed by state regulations, and complete daily progress reports in a friendly, community-focused environment.

The role offers a sign-on bonus and benefits for full-time staff, along with growth opportunities in a stable, family-oriented company.

Qualifications

• CNA license or two years of caregiver experience.
• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed.

If you are someone with:

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
