Job summary

BrightStar Care is looking for compassionate and dependable Caregivers to support clients in Cleveland and surrounding communities. You will build meaningful relationships while helping clients maintain independence, safety, and comfort in their own homes.

You will provide one-on-one support, including personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation, and light housekeeping. Full- and part-time shifts are available to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of caregiving or healthcare experience.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• A valid Texas driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance are required.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance tailored to each client’s needs.
• Offer companionship and social engagement.
• Prepare meals and assist with nutrition.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with routines.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation to appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping and home safety tasks.

Schedule & availability:

We offer day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts, with assignments typically ranging from 4 to 12 hours. Opportunities are available throughout Cleveland and nearby communities, allowing you to build a schedule that works for you.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 2 years of caregiving or healthcare experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and current CPR/BLS certification. Applicants must also possess a valid Texas driver’s license, reliable transportation, current auto insurance, a recent TB test or chest X-ray, and the ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
