Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Caregiver Assistant to support residents with compassionate, dignified care. You will help with daily activities, meals, social engagement, and communicate changes in residents' needs to the branch leadership.

Prior CNA training is preferred, with on‑the‑job instruction and state‑required certifications encouraged. Opportunities exist across shifts (full-time, part-time, and PRN).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Willing to successfully complete the Certified Nurse Aide course within six months of hire.
• Willing to take additional training as states may require.
• CPR and First Aid certified or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans.
• Assist in all aspects of a resident’s daily life, including ADLs, meals, and social engagement.
• Communicate with branch clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
• Care for residents with dementia using appropriate approaches.

Join our DYNAMIC team at Bickford Senior Living as a Caregiver Assistant! The Caregiver Assistant supports resident care within the branch. Ensuring Resident’s daily needs are met in a compassionate way that maintains their dignity, allowing them to live their life to the fullest!

FULL-TIME

• Full-time employees (30+ hours per week) are eligible for all benefits (medical, dental, vision, and voluntary products)

Responsibilities:

• Appropriately communicate with branch clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
• Knowledge of how to approach and care for residents with dementia.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED; or one-year related experience.
• Willing to successfully complete the Certified Nurse Aide course within six months of hire.
• Willing to take additional training or education, which specific states may require.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.
• Competent in organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
