Bickford Senior Living in Macomb, IL is seeking a Caregiver Assistant to support residents with daily living tasks, meals, and social engagement, always treating them with dignity and compassion.

You will work in a team-focused environment, follow care plans, communicate with branch leadership, and participate in training to care for residents including those with dementia. Full-time, part-time, and PRN positions available with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or one-year related experience.
• Willing to complete Certified Nurse Aide course within six months of hire.
• Willing to take additional state-required training.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational and time management abilities.
• Sound judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans.
• Assist in all aspects of a resident’s daily life, including activities of daily living, meal service, and social engagement.
• Appropriately communicate with branch clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.

Join our DYNAMIC team at Bickford Senior Living as a Caregiver Assistant! The Caregiver Assistant supports resident care within the branch. Ensuring Resident’s daily needs are met in a compassionate way that maintains their dignity, allowing them to live their life to the fullest!

FULL-TIME

• Full-time employees (30+ hours per week) are eligible for all benefits (medical, dental, vision, and voluntary products)
