Job summary

BrightStar Care - Cleveland is seeking dedicated caregivers to provide in-home care throughout Westside Cuyahoga County and surrounding communities. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, meals, transportation, and companionship in a supportive team environment.

We offer flexible scheduling including full-time, part-time, PRN, and 12-hour shifts with opportunities for career growth. RN oversight and comprehensive benefits are provided, along with paid training and ongoing CEUs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of caregiving experience preferred.
• HHA/STNA/CNA training preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with client mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Accompany clients to appointments and community activities.
• Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team.
• Follow individualized care plans and agency protocols.

Schedule Include:

• Someone who can work Fulltime
• Different shifts are available (AM, PM, Night shift)

• We are lookin for someone ready for on call
• Someone who has high Flexibility in terms of Schedule and Location
• Should be available to work in the west part of Cleveland.

What You'll Do

Qualifications

• HHA, STNA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant training preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with client mobility
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while following client care plans
• Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
