Job summary

Koelsch Communities is seeking a caring Caregiver to join our Resident Services Team at Northbrook Inn in Northbrook, IL. This full-time role offers an AM shift (6AM–2PM) with pay between $21 and $22 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits and CNA certification support.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, promote safety and dignity, and engage residents in meaningful social interactions. Growth opportunities exist within the organization.

Qualifications

• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire.
• Must be able to gain CPR/ First-Aid certification as needed in accordance with company policy and applicable state rules and regulations.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance
• Responds to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provides or obtains assistance with care as necessary
• Keep the environment safe and clean for residents
• Observe and uphold resident rights at all times
• Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and report promptly to a licensed nurse
• Perform other duties as assigned
