Amada Senior Care North Shore is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to assist individuals with daily living activities in Skokie, Illinois. Ideal candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in senior care environments and possess strong interpersonal skills. The role offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, health benefits for eligible full-time employees, as well as paid training to aid career growth. Drive to the North/Western suburbs is necessary prior to starting work.

Qualificações

• 1+ year of experience or equivalent in assisted living or senior care environments.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively.
• Familiarity with home care systems.

Responsabilidades

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with meal preparation and medication reminders.
• Monitor and report changes in client’s health status.

Conhecimentos

Experience in assisted living or senior care environments

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations

Proficiency in caregiving techniques

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Competence in meal preparation for special dietary needs
