Job summary

Comfort Keepers San Diego is seeking compassionate caregivers to help seniors at home across San Diego County. You will provide one-on-one support to keep clients safe, comfortable, and independent.

We offer part-time and full-time opportunities with weekly pay, mileage reimbursement, and paid training. Eligible employees gain medical/dental/vision coverage and a 401(k). Uniforms are provided and you’ll join a supportive care team.

Qualifications

• Must have valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and transfers.
• Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and errands.
• Support clients living with dementia or other cognitive/behavioral health challenges.
• Observe and report changes in a client's condition.
• Communicate with the care team to ensure support.

Pay & Benefits

Pay: $18..50-$25.00 per hour. Your rate reflects your experience and credentials.

What You'll Do

As a Comfort Keepers caregiver, you'll provide compassionate, one‑on‑one care that helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Depending on your client's needs, your day may include:

• Supporting clients living with dementia and other cognitive or behavioral health challenges

• Communicating with our care team to ensure your client gets the support they need

Required

• Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Authorization to work in the United States
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred

• Prior caregiving, CNA, or HHA experience
• Experience with dementia or behavioral health care
• Availability for weekend or overnight shifts
