Job summary

Comfort Keepers San Diego is hiring compassionate caregivers to help seniors stay safe, comfortable, connected, and independent at home. You’ll provide one-on-one care tailored to each client’s needs.

Pay ranges from $18.50 to $25.00 per hour, with weekend/overnight shifts paying more. We offer weekly pay, mileage reimbursement, paid training, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Prior caregiving, CNA, or HHA experience preferred.
• Availability for weekend or overnight shifts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Assisting with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and transfers
• Preparing meals and helping with light housekeeping
• Providing medication reminders
• Helping with transportation to appointments and errands
• Supporting clients living with dementia and other cognitive or behavioral health challenges
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition
• Communicating with our care team to ensure your client gets the support they need

Education

Pay: $18..50-$25.00 per hour. Your rate reflects your experience and credentials.

What You'll Do
