Sevita is hiring a caregiver to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a community-based setting. You’ll help with personal care, daily living activities, and community engagement, working under supportive supervision.

The role emphasizes patient, compassionate care and relationship-building with participants, with focus on safety, dignity, and independence in daily life. A high school diploma is required and a valid driver’s license is needed for transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and support those with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Provide care that helps participants grow, learn, and live well.
• Help participants participate in community activities and pursue their goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Collaborate with supervisors and care teams to ensure participant wellbeing.
