Job summary

Home Care Assistance of Philadelphia is looking for a daytime caregiver in Dresher, PA, 9am-1pm, to work one-on-one with clients in their home. In-person interviews at our Chalfont, PA office may be required.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, transfers, bathing, grooming, medication reminders, light housekeeping, errands, and meal prep, with ongoing office support available 24/7.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver, professional or family.
• Reliable transportation with valid license/insurance.
• Pass background check and provide excellent references.
• PA background check and health clearance per PA DOH.

Responsibilities

• Assist client with daily living activities including transfers, bathing, grooming and reminders.
• Match clients with caregivers to support long-term relationships.
• May include light housekeeping, errands, meal prep, and laundry.

Job Duties:

• Assist elderly clientwith daily living activities, including transfers, helping with bathing, grooming and medication reminders.
• Clientand caregivers are matched based on skill level, personality traits and preferences to support long-term relationships.
• May include light housekeeping, running errands, meal preparation and laundry.

We’re looking for the best – here’s what we’d like to see:

• Past experience as a caregiver, either professionally or with family members.
• A passion for the job and helping others.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Excellent references from past employers and supervisors.
• Current 2 step PPD, quantiferon gold or chest x-ray (required by PA Dept of Health)

In-person interviews are required. Caregiver must be willing to come to our office in Chalfont, PA for an interview and to complete necessary paperwork.
