Job summary

Senior Helpers is seeking a caring caregiver to provide one-on-one personal care in clients' homes across Burnsville, Lakeville, Apple Valley, and surrounding areas.

You will offer companionship, assist with daily tasks, monitor health and safety, and record updates for families. The role emphasizes compassion, reliability, and a desire for professional growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Caring and compassionate - you enjoy helping others.
• Willingness to learn new skills to best assist your clients.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Required: 1+ year of professional caregiving experience or experience caring for a loved one.
• Preferred: Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and help your clients participate in activities they enjoy.
• Help your clients with daily tasks such as preparing meals, driving to appointments, and housekeeping.
• Assist your clients with walking, dressing, bathing, and other personal care needs.
• Record activities that were completed/not completed with your clients.
• Provide updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior.
