Job summary

The Delaney at The Vale is seeking an outstanding Caregiver to join our team in Woburn, MA. We offer a compassionate work environment where you’ll support residents with personal care and daily activities as part of a dedicated care team.

Starting at $20/hour with full-time evening shifts (3p-11pm) or PRN options, plus a comprehensive benefits package including 401k, health, dental, and life insurance, PTO, and flexible scheduling. EEO Employer.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Ability to assist with feeding and mealtime support.
• Strong communication with residents, families, and healthcare staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, incontinent care, etc.).
• Assist residents with mealtime, cut food, encourage eating.
• Complete and document shift assignments; report if unable to complete.
• Communicate needs to residents, families, and Department Heads.
• Provide planned activities and respond to call lights promptly.

Here Are a Few Of The Daily Responsibilities

• Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.
• Assist residents with mealtime. Cut food. Encourage to eat.
• Complete and document shift assignments as assigned, if unable to complete, report to nursing supervisor.
• Communicate to residents, families, Department Heads and the Director of Resident Services when needed.
• Provide activities as planned and/or directed.
• Respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have

• Home Health Aide Certification or Nursing Assistant License
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• One (1) year experience working as a CNA/PCA/HHA/RA preferred
