Summary:

As a Resident Assistant, you are a key member of our team, enhancing residents' lives by providing consistent, quality care to ensure they live meaningful lives.

Essential Functions:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility
• Engage residents in conversation, socialization, and activities while providing personal care
• Respond promptly to resident needs and requests, providing or obtaining assistance as needed
• Assist in dining room during meals
• Encourage participation in activities and outings, assisting as needed
• Maintain community cleanliness, including tidying resident rooms and assisting with laundry

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience working with the elderly in a care setting preferred
• Effective communication skills in English
• Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to pass required tests (CPR, First Aid, etc.) if mandated by state regulations
