Job summary

Visiting Angels - Owensboro, KY is looking for compassionate caregivers. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, mobility, meal prep, and transportation for clients in the Owensboro area. Flexible scheduling supports part-time and full-time arrangements.

Paid training, benefits, and weekly pay are offered to help you grow with the Visiting Angels team. A background check and valid driver’s license are required, with weekend availability a must.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates compassion and reliability in daily caregiving.
• Able to pass a background check and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a dependable vehicle for shifts and client transportation.
• TB Skin Test is provided by Visiting Angels.
• Acknowledge weekend shifts as required (one weekend per month).

Responsibilities

• Bathing clients.
• Dressing clients.
• Toileting assistance.
• Transferring clients safely.
• Light housekeeping (dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, laundry, dishes, changing bed linens).
• Provide basic companionship.
• Transport clients for errands.
• Assist with cooking and meal prep.
• Provide medication reminders.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Bathing
• Dressing
• Toileting
• Transferring Assistance

Caregiver Requirements:

• Anyone with a previous HHA or CNA experience is welcome, however no experience is necessary.
• TB Skin Test (Paid for by Visiting Angels)
• Valid Driver's License
• Active, Current Automobile Insurance
• Dependable vehicle for to and from shifts and transporting clients.
• Must be able to pass a background check and able to work at least one weekend a month.
