Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care – Birmingham South is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one care to clients in Birmingham and surrounding communities. The role emphasizes daytime availability, including morning and afternoon shifts (6:30am–6:30pm), with opportunities for advancement and ongoing training.

You’ll provide personal care, companionship, mobility assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving, home care, senior care, or related healthcare experience preferred.
• CPR certification desired; willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Daytime availability, including morning and afternoon shifts (6:30am–6:30pm).
• Weekend availability is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Successful completion of background screening and reference checks.

Responsibilities

Assisting Hands Home Care – Birmingham South is looking for compassionate, dependable Caregivers to provide exceptional one-on-one care to clients throughout Birmingham and surrounding communities.

The Role

As an Assisting Hands Caregiver, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and other adults who want to remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

We are currently seeking caregivers with DAYTIME AVAILABILITY, including morning and afternoon shifts, with consideration of 6:30am-6:30pm availability.
