Job summary

Touchmark at Fairway Village in Southwest Washington seeks a dedicated CNA to provide compassionate in-home care to residents and off-campus clients. You will assist with bathing, dressing, daily living activities, answer call lights promptly, escort residents to activities and meals, and document vitals as required.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, state CNA or NAC certification in WA (Home Care Aide acceptable), and is willing to obtain CPR/AED/First Aid.

Qualifications

• Must be state-certified CNA or NAC in WA; Home Care Aide certificate acceptable.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to obtain CPR/AED/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing the service plan for every resident each shift.
• Assisting with bathing, dressing, and activities of daily living.
• Answering call lights promptly to ensure safety.
• Escorting residents to activities and dining rooms.
• In memory care, preparing dining room, taking orders, and serving meals.
• Taking and documenting vital statistics; assisting with medication as directed.

We are currently seeking the right person to join our team as a Caregiver - Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) !Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities for Day, Swing and NOC shifts!Your responsibilities as a CNA may include daily duties such as:

• Reviewing and understanding the unique service plan for every assigned resident each shift
• Assisting with bathing, dressing/undressing, and other activities of daily living
• Answering call lights as soon as possible to ensure safety of residents
• Escorting residents to and from apartments, activities, and dining rooms
• In our memory care setting, CNA’s may prepare the dining room, take orders, and serve meals
• Taking and documenting vital statistics
• Performing medication assistance as directed by a licensed staff

The ideal candidate will be trustworthy and compassionate, and will:

• Be committed to and passionate about 100% customer satisfaction
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Have completed a state certified CNA or NAC course, with current certification in the state of Washington. Home Care Aide certificate is also acceptable, as is current enrollment in a CNA training school
• Be willing to obtain a CPR/AED/First Aid Certification if you don’t already have one
• Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
