Job summary

Rocky Mountain Assisted Living in Colorado is seeking a full-time caregiver to assist seniors with daily living activities and provide person-centered care.

You will follow care plans, maintain a clean home, and document observations; this includes day shifts and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the elderly.
• Must have or be willing to get QMAP.
• Ability to carry our written and verbal directions and to read and write.
• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1-year experience providing care to the elderly or persons with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with Activities of Daily Living in accordance with the Resident's Care Plan and RMAL Policies and Procedures.
• Engage residents with person center care
• Understand, adheres to, and promote RMAL Policies and Procedures.
• Understands adheres to, and promotes Resident Rights
• Performs housekeeping duties throughout the home. Ensures the home is clean and tidy at all times.
• Documents in the 24-hour communication log, activity log, and MAR prior to leaving every shift in a professional and objective manner.
• Adheres to safe food practices while preparing scheduled meals.
• Performs other tasks instructed by House Manager and/or Wellness Director and in accordance with the Residents and RMAL Policies and Procedures.
