Job summary

Merrill Gardens in Springfield, Missouri is seeking a Senior Living Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities and dignity.

The role emphasizes compassion, reliability, and teamwork in a warm, family-like environment. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available with competitive benefits.

You will assist with ADLs, help manage medications per state guidelines, and document progress; growth opportunities exist within our growing community.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed.

Physical Requirements

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
