Job summary

Senior Helpers San Gabriel Valley is hiring compassionate in-home caregivers to provide one-on-one personal care, promoting safety and independence for clients in their own homes. You will build relationships through conversations, assist with daily activities, and support families.

Training and flexible scheduling help you balance work and life. We value professional growth, community service, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Eligible to be an HCA per CDSS guidelines.
• Reliable transportation and dependable for community visits.

Responsibilities

• Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships
• Participate in your clients' favorite hobbies (scrap booking, gardening, games, etc.)
• Prep meals for your clients to enjoy
• Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living
• Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients' physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior

Senior Helpers of San Gabriel Valley caregivers provide one-on-one personal care to help our clients remain safe and independent in their home. Job Duties: What does a day in the life of a caregiver look like? Providing a helping hand.

Qualifications:

• Have a reliable means of transportation
• Proficient in communication methods such as text and email
• Eligible to be a Home Care Aid (HCA) according to California Department of Social Services (CDSS) guidelines
• Must be at least 18 years of age
