Job summary

Klipsch Senior Care, LLC in Tell City, IN is hiring Care Professionals to support aging adults at home, providing companionship, personal care, and day-to-day assistance.

You will help with bathing, grooming, meals, light housekeeping, medication reminders, errands, and ensure safety. These roles welcome a compassionate, reliable team member and offer flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence issues.
• Provide stabilization and assistance with walking.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, changing linens).
• Prepare meals and clean up after meals.
• Provide medication and appointment reminders; run errands as needed.
• Report daily activities and significant changes to supervisor.

• Pay Rate: Competitive Pay from $14.75 - $18.75 per hour

Available Shifts:

• Morning Shifts 8am-12pm
• Day Shifts 12pm-4pm
• Evening Shifts 4pm-8pm
• Overnight Shifts 8pm-8am

Primary Responsibilities

• Companionship & Personal Care:
• Providing companionship and conversation
• Assisting with bathing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence issues
• Providing stabilization and assistance with walking
• Household Support:
• Preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items
• Performing light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, etc.)
• Washing and ironing laundry
• Health & Logistics:
• Providing medication and appointment reminders
• Running errands and accompanying clients to appointments
• Providing specialized care, including Advanced Alzheimer's/Dementia and Hospice care
• Reporting:
• Documenting daily activities and reporting any significant changes in a client’s needs
• Maintaining regular communication with your supervisor and the office staff

Qualifications And Requirements

• Personal: Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect.
• Legal:
• Possess a valid driver’s license or state identification
• Possess valid auto insurance (if applicable for driving clients)
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Physical:
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 25 pounds
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach
• Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations
