Job summary

Velocity Staffing is seeking compassionate Caregivers in Saginaw, Michigan to support seniors with dignity and respect. This role involves providing various non‑medical services to help clients age in place safely in their homes.

Responsibilities include companionship, assistance with daily activities such as bathing and grooming, medication reminders, and transportation. Candidates should possess a CNA or HHA license, or relevant experience, and must be reliable and caring.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA license preferred or experience caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to perform the physical duties of the position.

We are looking for compassionate Caregivers to be part of our team and join us in our mission of enhancing seniors’ lives, one day at a time. You work individually with clients, one‑on‑one, providing a variety of non‑medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but not limited to:

• Companionship
• Light cooking and cleaning
• Bathing, grooming and toileting
• Assistance with ambulation and medication reminders
• Transportation for appointments and errands

QUALIFICATIONS

• CNA or HHA license preferred or 6 months of full‑time work or 12 months of part‑time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons
• Exceptional communication skills
• Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
• Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
• Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state)
