Job summary

Companions & Homemakers is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care across multiple CT service areas. You will follow clients’ Plans of Care, transport to appointments, assist with daily tasks, and offer companionship.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle, and the ability to pass a background check. Open availability is preferred and caregiver experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.

Your Day-to-Day

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care
• Transport clients to appointments and activities

• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support
• Document care and provide reminders as directed

What You'll Need
