Job summary

Companions & Homemakers in Connecticut is hiring caregivers to provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.

You’ll transport clients to appointments, assist with light housekeeping, meal prep and errands, and offer companionship. You may help with dressing, bathing and mobility while ensuring dignity and safety at all times.

We offer flexible shifts including weekdays, weekends, overnights and live-in options with a competitive hourly rate and benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a caregiver or CNA, HHA, PCA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence, offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.

What You'll Need
