Job summary

Visiting Angels Southern Maryland is hiring compassionate caregivers to assist seniors in their own homes, ensuring安全, dignity, and independence. You will provide personal care support, run errands, assist with medications, and help with light housekeeping in a one-on-one setting.

We offer flexible scheduling, background checks, and a focus on enriching the lives of clients. This role is performed on-site in clients' homes in Southern Maryland, with opportunities for steady shifts and meaningful

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant job experience or CNA license
• CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable car
• Able to pass background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screen
• Social Security card present at time of interview

Responsibilities

• Show kindness and empathy towards senior clients
• Provide essential support to seniors at their residence
• Help with medication reminders
• Assist with household errands and provide transportation to and from appointments
• Perform light housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation duties
• Some people need personal care and hygiene assistance - including bathing, dressing, and grooming
