Job summary

Visiting Angels Southern Maryland is seeking caring individuals to join our team providing in-home senior care across Charles, Calvert, and St. Mary’s Counties. You will assist with daily activities, monitor well-being, and ensure safety while supporting independence in clients' homes.

We value empathy, reliability, and the ability to maintain professional boundaries. A valid driver's license, reliable car, background check, and CPR certification are required; CNA license or 3 years experience

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable car required.
• Able to pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screen.
• 3 years of relevant job experience, or current CNA license.
• CPR certification required.
• Social Security card present at time of interview.

Responsibilities

• Show kindness and empathy towards senior clients.
• Provide essential support to seniors at their residence.
• Help with medication reminders.
• Assist with household errands and provide transportation to and from appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation duties.
• Some people need personal care and hygiene assistance - including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
