Job summary

Covelo Direct, Inc. is seeking a full-time weekday caregiver to support seniors in both home and day center settings in the San Jose area. The role focuses on daily living activities, companionship, and safe mobility, with a mission-driven team.

You'll follow care plans, document care, and report changes to clinical staff, benefiting from comprehensive benefits, weekly pay, and ongoing training in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience providing personal care to seniors or individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living.
• Reliable, compassionate, and able to follow care directions closely.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist seniors with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support safe mobility and transfers using gait belts or other equipment as trained.
• Accompany participants to and from appointments or activities.
• Provide companionship and emotional support in both home and day center environments.
• Document care provided and report changes in condition to clinical staff.
• Follow established care plans and safety procedures.

*This pay range represents Covelo Direct's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation offered will be dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location.
