ComForCare Home Care - Alameda is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support a senior client in Dublin, CA. The role focuses on personal care, daily living tasks, and companionship, with a schedule of 8am-4pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and potential for additional hours with other clients.

Ideal candidates are Cantonese-speaking, have reliable transportation, and hold or are willing to obtain a California HCA registration.

Qualifications

• Must speak Cantonese and be available 8am-4pm on Tue/Thu.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active California HCA registration or willingness to complete it.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living assistance to a senior client in Dublin, CA.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and basic exercises.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and routine household tasks.
• Offer companionship and engage client in activities.
• Coordinate with family and care team to support well-being.

What You’ll Do

• Support a senior Chinese woman in Dublin with personal care and daily living tasks.
• Schedule: 8AM-4PM Tuesday & Thursday. Potential to add 8AM-4PM Saturday and Sunday
• Assist with safe mobility, transfers, and simple exercises.
• Prepare meals and help with feeding when needed.
• Provide light housekeeping and routine household support.
• Offer companionship and family respite.
• Engage clients in conversation, activities, and meaningful connection.

What We’re Looking For

• Must Speak Cantonese
• Must be available 8am-4pm Tuesday and Thursday - if looking for more hours, we do have other clients
• A genuine desire to help seniors and vulnerable adults.
• Weekend Availability is a Plus
• High school diploma or GED.
• Dependable transportation.
• Positive attitude, good communication, and respect for elders.
• Active California HCA registration (or willingness to complete it).
• Ability to work in the Tri‑Valley area.
