Job summary

HomeWell Care Services of Reno is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors, veterans, and adults at home. We offer flexible schedules, part-time and full-time roles, and paid training.

Earn more with Nevada’s Medication Management certification; higher rate for med-certified care. Join a growth-minded team delivering meaningful in-home care in Reno, NV.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience preferred, but we’ll train the right person.
• Nevada Medication Management certificate strongly preferred (proof of current annual training required for the higher rate).
• Dementia care training, CNA, CPR/First Aid, or hospice experience a big plus.
• Experience with veterans, mobility assistance, or safe transfers is a plus.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Help with daily activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Administer medications (certified caregivers) or give medication reminders.
• Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide companionship and run errands.
• Watch for changes in a client’s condition and report them to our care team.

Earn more with your Med Management certificate! Coming from an assisted living or group home? If you’ve completed Nevada’s 16-hour Medication Management course and are current on your annual 8-hour refresher, you’ll earn our higher rate and help clients with their medications at home. Attach your certificates when you apply.

What you’ll do
