ComForCare Home Care of Truckee Meadows in Reno, NV is seeking compassionate caregivers to help seniors and adults stay safe and independent at home. Part‑time and full‑time hours with daytime, evening and weekend shifts are available, backed by a local office and a national brand with 30 years in the industry.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent at home.

• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Light housekeeping, laundry and errands.
• Provide companionship and respite for family.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.

What we are looking for:

• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible
• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Ability to pass a fingerprint‑based background check and TB screening
• Willingness to complete required state training before your first independent shift (provided by us)
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
• Comfortable using a smartphone app to clock in and out of visits

What you will be doing:

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent in their own homes
• Provide assistance with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding
• Help manage household needs, such as light housekeeping, laundry, and errands
• Provide companionship and respite for the family
• Observe and report changes in a client’s condition to the office

Pay:

$19/hr, up to $21/hr for clients needing full, hands‑on help with bathing, toileting, and transfers.

Schedule:

Flexible shifts are available, including weekday days, evenings, and weekends. We offer part‑time and full‑time hours and build your schedule around your availability.
