Job summary

HomeWell Care Services of Reno is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors, veterans, and adults at home. The role offers part-time and full-time hours with flexible schedules and paid training.

You will assist with daily activities, administer medications per certification, prepare meals, provide companionship, and help manage medications and transfers while reporting changes to the care team.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience preferred, but we’ll train the right person.
• Nevada Medication Management certificate strongly preferred (proof of current annual training required for the higher rate).
• Dementia care training, CNA, CPR/First Aid, or hospice experience a big plus.
• Experience with veterans, mobility assistance, or safe transfers is a plus.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Help with daily activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Administer medications (certified caregivers) or give medication reminders
• Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide companionship and run errands
• Watch for changes in a client’s condition and report them to our care team
