Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare of Pleasant Hill is hiring Home Care Aides to join our compassionate team. This PRN/Part-Time role offers meaningful daily support, flexible scheduling, and quick onboarding in the Pleasant Hill area.

You will provide companionship, assist with activities of daily living, monitor well-being, remind about medications, and document care activities to ensure safety and high-quality care in clients’ homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred).
• Proof of current 2-step TB testing (or ability to obtain).
• Current CPR / First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
• Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) with the state of California (or willing to register).
• Must be bondable and pass a national criminal background check.
• Satisfactory professional and personal reference check.
• Ability to complete SYNERGY HomeCare orientation and online training modules.
• Physically able to perform light to moderate exertion including standing, walking, kneeling, and assisting with client repositioning.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene
• Support meal planning, preparation, and grocery shopping
• Provide medication reminders and monitor client well-being
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting to the office
• Adhere to SYNERGY HomeCare's infection control, HIPAA, and dress code policies
• Report any changes in a client's physical, mental, and emotional condition promptly
• Clock in and out accurately using our mobile app or assigned timekeeping method

Benefits:

• $21.00 – $23.00/hr base pay — competitive pay based on experience

• $2.00/hr Attendance Bonus — earn an additional $2.00/hr (up to $25.00/hr total) by completing all agreed-upon shifts during the pay period
