Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking compassionate CAREgivers to help seniors at home. You will provide personal care, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, and meal preparation while offering companionship and reminders for medications. A supportive team helps you succeed and grow in your role.

Qualifications

• Heart for caring with empathy and a patient attitude.
• 6 months of caregiving preferred (family care counts).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Personal Support: assist with grooming, hygiene, and toileting needs.
• Safe Mobility: assist with movement and transfers (hoyer lifts, gait belts).
• Homemaking & Meal Prep: light housekeeping, laundry, cooking.
• Engagement & Care: provide companionship, medication reminders, dementia care.

Your Role as a CAREgiver:

• Personal Support: Help with daily grooming, hygiene, and toileting needs
• Safe Mobility: Assist with movement and transfers (including hoyer lifts and gait belts)
• Homemaking & Meal Prep: Create a safe, clean home environment with light housekeeping, laundry, and cooking
• Engagement & Care: Provide companionship, medication reminders, and specialized care for dementia clients
• Reliable Support for Clients: Run errands, provide transportation, and more

What We Need from You as a Caregiver:

• Heart for Caring: Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude
• Experience: 6 months of caregiving experience preferred (family experience counts!)
• Reliability: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Physical Strength: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform necessary movements
