Job summary

Astoria Senior Living in Omaha, NE is seeking compassionate caregivers to support residents with daily living activities and daily routines. You will help residents live with dignity, independence, and joy, while working as part of a caring team.

As a caregiver, you will build meaningful relationships, encourage participation in activities, and collaborate with families to ensure residents feel safe, comfortable, and at home. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving is beneficial, but not required.
• Ability to communicate with residents, families, and coworkers.
• Empathy, dependability, and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dressing, bathing, meals, mobility, and daily activities while encouraging independence.
• Engage residents with conversation, humor, and encouragement.
• Monitor residents' well-being and report changes promptly to the care team.
• Provide personal care with patience, respect, and kindness.
• Encourage participation in activities to bring purpose and joy.
