Job summary

Regency Newcastle is seeking caring and compassionate caregivers to assist our senior residents with daily well-being, personal services, medication assistance, social activities, and meals. You will report to the wellness director and follow resident care plans to ensure safety and dignity in a home-like environment.

We offer a $1,500 welcome bonus for full-time staff, comprehensive health benefits, PTO, life insurance, EAP, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• CNA license is required.
• At least six months of senior caregiving experience preferred.
• On-the-job training available for newcomers.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities according to care plans.
• Administer medications as directed and document changes.
• Support bathing, grooming, meal services and mobility.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Follow infection control procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Communicate with residents, families, and team members.
• Report changes to the wellness director and document notes in English.

CNA License Required!

$1,500 Welcome Bonus (FT)

As a caregiver, you assist our senior residents in their daily well-being, including personal services, medication assistance, social-recreational activities, meal services, and other tasks. You will report to the wellness director.

You Will:

• Follow the resident service plan including; assistance, bathing, grooming, administering medication, and other activities of daily living (ADLs), noting changes in the resident condition.
• Communicate problems, concerns, and issues with resident apartments, buildings, and grounds with an appropriate team member.
• Maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and follow infection control procedures.
• Comply with regulatory standards and OSHA guidelines, and incident reporting guidelines.
• Relate and communicate with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
• Support the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and home-like environment for residents.

You currently:

• Preferred candidates have six months of experience in senior caregiving. If new to healthcare, we will train.
• Exude a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe demeanor.
• Compose reports in English.
