Avid Health at Home, LLC in Mount Vernon, IL is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home support. You will help clients take prescribed medications, assist with mobility and personal care, and support daily routines and light exercises.

You will plan meals, assist with shopping, perform light housekeeping, and provide a friendly, reliable companionship. Salary is $17.00–$22.00 per hour, with benefits like health insurance, 401k, PTO, and holiday pay.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year caregiving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of housekeeping and cooking with dietary considerations.
• Adherence to health and safety standards essential.

• Able to perform physical tasks and keep endurance.

Responsabilidades

• Help clients take prescribed medication and monitor safety.
• Assist with ambulation, mobility, and basic therapy exercises.
• Provide personal care and hygiene support.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input.
• Shop for groceries or accompany clients to shops.
• Perform light housekeeping as needed.
• Offer companionship and monitor wellbeing.
• Report unusual incidents promptly and escalate when needed.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

Description

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
