Avid Health at Home Illinois LLC is seeking compassionate caregivers to assist clients with medication, personal care, mobility, meal prep, and light housekeeping in the home. You will provide daily companionship and support, ensuring safety and comfort for clients.

Roles include full-time or part-time positions with flexible schedules. HS diploma required, training provided, and opportunities for mentoring and growth within a caring team.

Qualifications

• Caregivers should have compassionate, patient demeanor and ability to follow care plans.
• Experience in personal care and mobility assistance is preferred.
• Must adhere to health and safety standards and medication handling guidelines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Reliable time management and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsabilités

• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist with daily routines.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around home or during outings.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Support clients with physical therapy exercises as directed.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input, respecting dietary needs.
• Do shopping or accompany clients for shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe living environment.
• Provide companionship and report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
