Job summary

Dial Senior Living in Lincoln, NE seeks a Caregiver to provide personal care and support while ensuring resident wellbeing under RN delegation. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, meals, and companionship, helping create a safe, respectful home for residents.

Ideal candidates are compassionate, patient, and able to follow care plans; prior caregiving experience is a plus. 16+ with basic first aid knowledge preferred; eligible for benefits listed by the employer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Knowledge of Basic First Aid.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care according to the resident service plan.
• Assist with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene, mobility.
• Observe and report changes in health, safety, or well-being.
• Respond to call signals and resident emergencies promptly.
• Support mobility with transfers and use of aids as needed.
• Assist with meals and bussing tables during meals.
• Offer companionship and encourage resident socialization.
• Launder residents’ clothing and towels; tidy apartments.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Report on-the-job injuries to supervisor before end of shift.

Position Overview

This position does not require a nursing certificate and is ideal for individuals beginning a caregiving career. The position provides personal care services, assistance, and support while ensuring resident wellbeing and safety, through RN delegation.

• Responsible for providing services to each resident according to the resident service plan.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene, and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in health, safety, and well-being of the residents.
• Respond promptly to call signals and resident emergencies, assisting with their immediate need or contacting emergency support.
• Support resident mobility by assisting with transfers, positioning, walking, and using mobility aids as needed.
• Assist with serving meals and bussing tables during mealtimes.
• Offer companionship and conversation while encouraging socialization among residents.
• Launder residents’ clothing, linen and towels; fold and return to residents.
• Complete minor housekeeping of residents’ apartments, providing a pleasant home environment.
• Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents, facility operations and personnel.
• Report on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Other Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Knowledge of Basic First Aid
