Job summary

Visiting Angels of SWMO seeks caring individuals to join our team as part-time home care aides. You will support clients in their homes, focusing on safety, dignity, and independence while delivering compassionate personal and companion care.

Ideal candidates have experience with dementia/Alzheimer's, excellent communication, and a genuine desire to help older adults. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

• Has experience caring for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
• Provides both personal and companion care.
• Communicates well and notices verbal and nonverbal cues.
• Is patient, dependable, compassionate, and professional.
• Respects client choices, dignity and independence.
• Desires to serve older adults and bring warmth to home life.
• Brings warmth, encouragement, and a sense of humor to the home.
• Has a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Willing to complete criminal background and motor vehicle history screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal and companion care to clients at home.

• Monitor health status and report changes to supervisors.
