Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) caregiver in Indiana to provide direct support and positive direction to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role focuses on empowering independence, maintaining dignity, and delivering compassionate care.

The position offers hourly compensation of $15.00–$16.75 with paid training and a suite of benefits, including PTO, health coverage for FT employees, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license required (due to transporting persons served).
• Successful background clearance is required during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance to individuals with disabilities.
• Ensure comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Assist with activities of daily living (mobility, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene).

Job Description

What You Get To Do:

ADirect Support Professional (DSP) caregiverprovides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities. The ultimate goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible while maintaining their dignity and respect.

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.

Qualifications
