Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors in Modesto, CA and the surrounding areas. You’ll assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, meal prep, and mobility, helping clients maintain comfort, dignity, and independence at home.

We offer a 1:1 aide-to-client ratio, flexible scheduling, and access to online training and continuing education (CEUs) to support your growth and success in this meaningful role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and active California Home Health Aide registration.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, and companionship.
• Support mobility and safety, including ambulation assistance and transfers.
• Provide medication reminders and observe health conditions.
• Engage clients in activities to promote comfort and independence.

As a Caregiver, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do:

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, and companionship
• Support mobility and safety, including ambulation assistance, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Provide medication reminders, observe and document health conditions, and promptly report any concerns
• Create meaningful moments by engaging clients in activities they enjoy like reading, puzzles, and hobbies tailored to their interests

A few must-haves for our Caregivers:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and an active California Home Health Aide registration
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Compassionate and dependable with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
