Job summary

Hummingbird Home Care in Mayfield Heights is seeking a Day Shift Caregiver to assist clients in their own homes on the east side of Cleveland. This role offers daytime shifts, evening hours from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM (varies), and weekend shifts with hours that may vary.

Pay is up to $20/hour based on experience, plus a $450 hiring bonus. The position emphasizes flexible scheduling, a supportive family-style environment, and one-on-one client care.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation and active car insurance.
• Dependable, compassionate, and respectful.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers/lifting).
• Provide care for bed-bound clients.
• Meal preparation.
• Medication reminders.
• Transportation to appointments, errands, or outings.
• Companionship and emotional support.
