Job summary

Right at Home is hiring caregivers in Madras, Oregon to provide compassionate 1:1 in-home care for seniors and disabled adults. Roles include companionship, meal prep, transportation, light housekeeping, and help with medications. Training is available, and experience in dementia or hospice care is a plus.

Both part-time and full-time positions are offered to fit your schedule. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour, with shift differentials on select shifts and mileage reimbursement.

• Caregiver experience is preferred (but not required) and training is available.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 in-home care to seniors, veterans, and disabled adults.
• Assist with companionship, meal preparation, housekeeping, and transportation.
• Help with medications, toileting, hygiene, grooming and dressing as needed.
• Support clients with dementia or hospice care if applicable; training provided.

As a caregiver with Right at Home, you'll provide 1:1 in-home care to seniors, veterans, disabled adults, post-op patients, and seniors from many different backgrounds. Your tasks might include companionship, meal prep, housekeeping, transportation, helping with medications, toileting, hygiene and grooming support, and assistance with dressing. If you have experience in hospice care or with dementia or Alzheimer's support, that's definitely a plus! But we can train you from square one.

Must be able to pass extensive background check including motor vehicle records check.
