Job summary

Right at Home of Central Oregon is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home support to seniors and disabled adults in Redmond, Bend and surrounding areas. You will assist with daily living activities, medication reminders, light housekeeping, meal prep and transportation.

The role may require travel and shifts on different days; prior caregiver experience is preferred and training is provided. A supportive team environment is offered.

Qualifications

• Caregiver experience preferred.
• Clean driving record required.
• Reliable transportation to and from client sites.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one in-home support to seniors and disabled adults.
• Assist with medications, toileting, hygiene and dressing.
• Prepare meals, perform light housekeeping, and transport clients as needed.
• Travel between Redmond, Bend and surrounding Central Oregon areas.

As a caregiver with Right at Home, you'll provide one-on-one in-home support to seniors, veterans, disabled adults, post-op patients, and elderly individuals from diverse backgrounds. Your tasks will include include hands-on personal care including helping with medications, toileting, hygiene and grooming support and assistance with dressing-- as well as meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, and more. If you have experience in hospice care or with dementia or Alzheimer's support, that's definitely a plus! But we can train you from the ground up.

THIS JOB WILL LIKELY REQUIRE TO TRAVEL TO THE CITY OF BEND AND SURROUNDING AREAS. PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE WILLING TO WORK SOME OR ALL OF YOUR TIME IN BEND, AS WELL AS REDMOND. We have multiple other clients all around Central Oregon too, in: Prineville, La Pine, Madras, Sisters, Sunriver, Culver, Powell Butte, Crooked River Ranch, Terrebonne, and more.

Must be able to pass extensive background check including motor vehicle records check.

Salary: $20 - $23 per hour
