Job summary

Interim HealthCare of Eugene, OR is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to assist seniors at home in Scio, OR and surrounding areas. You’ll provide personal care, companionship, meal prep and light housekeeping with a focus on safety and dignity.

The role emphasizes 1:1 client care, a flexible schedule, and opportunities for online training, CEUs and tuition discounts. Prior caregiving experience and CPR are valued assets for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Six months of caregiver experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate and good communicator; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support so seniors can live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation, companionship).
• Support ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document conditions; notify supervisor of concerns.
• Maintain a safe home environment with clear pathways.
• Engage clients in activities that bring joy (puzzles, games, reading, hobbies).

As a Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:
