Qualifications

• Provide personal care and grooming assistance as needed.
• Monitor residents and report changes to Shift Manager.
• Uphold residents' rights and respond promptly to calls for assistance.

Responsibilities

• Know the location and disposition of all residents under direct care at all times.
• Ensure residents look clean and presentable throughout the day.
• Assist with dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene tasks as needed.
• Keep resident rooms tidy, make beds, and organize clothing.
• Document changes in residents and report to Shift Manager at shift end.
• Attend staff meetings and mandatory training.
• Follow care plans and posted messages during shifts.
• Respond to resident calls for assistance and observe safety procedures.
• Assist in emergency situations per facility plan and provide First Aid as directed.
• Maintain a cheerful attitude in interactions with residents and guests.
• Assist with bathing and dressing as scheduled, and help with mealtime needs.
• Support residents in daily recreational activities and encourage participation.

We are looking for Full-time Caregivers, AM, PM, and NOC shifts!

Some of the responsibilities of a Caregiver include:

• Know the location and disposition of all residents (under direct care) at all times.
• Ensure each resident looks clean and presentable throughout the day.
• Assist with dressing, applying makeup, combing hair, cleaning eyeglasses, and assisting with other personal grooming tasks as needed.
• Keep resident's rooms in proper order throughout the day, including tidying rooms, making beds, and putting clothes away. Assist residents by providing for their comfort, safety & enjoyment.
• Keep any internal charts current, know of each resident's needs, and report all observed physical and emotional changes in residents to the Shift Manager.
• Report should occur by the end of the shift and should be documented in the changeover notes unless immediate intervention is needed.
• Attend periodic staff meetings and in-service training and mandatory meetings as required.
• Read, follow and sign any care plans and posted messages and/or updates during each shift.
• Observe Resident's Rights, as posted within the facility. Promptly respond to resident calls for assistance.
• In Emergency situations, assist residents according to the Emergency Plan of the facility.
• Assist with First Aid as directed.
• Maintain a cooperative and cheerful attitude when relating to residents or their guests.
• Assist with bathing and dressing of residents as scheduled or directed.
• Assist residents at mealtime as directed or needed.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene needs as needed throughout the shift.
• Assist residents with daily recreational activities, including crafts, games, music, and exercise and encourage participation.
